The place was straightforward, nothing too much trouble, would recommend. Had very pleasant 4 nights here. The hotel had an ideal location near shops. Plus, it was just next door to train station, town centre and train station and Rugby Park, and pub. The food was great, truly enjoyed it.

Plus, the location was ace-right by Rugby Park after our charity cycle. The staff made it all seamless and even found a safe spot for our bikes. What a score!
There was a bit of a dodgy smell in the room-like vinegar, which didn't sit well. I noticed the door frame looked a bit battered. Still, it's all part of the Kilmarnock charm.

Location was spot on for my work, right next to the train station so that was a major plus. The staff was chill and friendly and even though i left at 9pm, the vibe of the place seemed cozy. My room was decent for 1 night, just the basics and comfy enough for a solo traveler like me. Snacks like tea and biscuits were a nice touch too.
Only issues were that there was no wifi in my room, a bummer. The double room had a shared bathroom, which i didn't see coming.

The location's proximity to the train station makes coming and going easy, ideal for travelers. Basic snacks like tea and biscuits provided in the room add a personal touch to the stay.
Unfortunately, the noise levels from the pub below can be a real nuisance, keeping guests up late into the night. Cleaning standards leave much to be desired, with dirty linens and cobwebs in the light fittings-not exactly what you'd expect during your stay. The room itself is cramped and basic, lacking the comfort and modern touches that would.

Kids loved the playground outside. The noisy bar made it hard to sleep until late. Good food, especially the pizza.
